FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

SECURITY/DAMAGE DEPOSIT

There is a Security/Damage deposit for each hire period (on top of your hire costs) for Margo Tom and Jerry it is £1500.


This will be refunded to yourselves once either Margo, Tom, or Jerry are returned safely, inspected by ourselves, and have no damage and are left in a clean and tidy state.

We ask for a 25% deposit and then full payment 4 weeks before your hire date.


We understand you cannot clean to our standards of you collecting the van but everything is supplied for you to wipe and clean everything down and sweep all floors.


If any of our vans are returned in a dirty state we will deduct money from your deposit of £250

Vans also need to be returned fully fuelled and with the Ad Blue topped up.

Gas Bottles

Due to the rising cost of gas, and the fact that the vans run the heating off of the gas bottles along with everything else we have to charge a £55 fee for gas for each hire.

If you do use both the gas bottles while away, it is your responsibility and at your cost to replace one of the bottles like for like.

LATE RETURN

Motorhomes must be returned by 11am unless otherwise agreed in writing prior to your hire with Good Life Campers.

If your return late there will be a deduction from your Security/Damage deposit of £250

DISCOUNTS AVAILABLE

Blue Light Discount on any amount of days 10%

BEDDING

All the mattress's have protection covers, you will need to provide your own sheets and other bedding.
Either sleeping bags or quilts, but please use sheets over the mattress protectors

CAMPING EQUIPMENT HIRE

Just ask us if there is anything you do not have and think you will need we have years worth of camping kit stored away.


Table and chairs for outdoor use are provided for each Van. 


Gas bottles are provided in all vans, 2 per van. During the winter months these will be charged for at a rate of £55 per hire period. If you run out of gas you will need to replace one of the bottles at your own cost. Unfortunately due to the rising cost of gas we cannot continue to provide these within the costs during the winter months.  


We do ask that all Vans are returned with a full tank of fuel, they will be hired to you with a full tank of fuel. Along with the Ad Blue being topped up.


We also ask that all vans are cleaned down inside and swept out, all items to do this are supplied for you, including cleaning products, cloths, brushes, hand held hoover, mop and bucket.

If the vans come back not wiped down or brushed out there will be a £100 charge.

DEPOSITS

We ask for a 25% deposit and then full payment 4 weeks before your hire date.

A booking is only confirmed after you have received an email from Good Life Campers to state we have received your deposit and your dates are confirmed.

Due to our insurance company requests when hiring any of our Vans we will require a photo copy of your driving licence, and 2 forms of identification (these could be household bills, or passport in your name) you will also need to do a DVLA driving licence report check a few weeks before you arrive to collect your hire van. This can be emailed through to us.

YOUR SECURITY DEPOSIT IN CASE OF BREAKAGE/ACCIDENTS

If for any reason you do have an accident please inform us immediately so we can let the insurance company know.

We do try our best and if a part is below the £1500 / £750 we will source this and send you the invoice for the part and fitting and return any monies left over.

Please be honest and tell us if there is any damage, we don't bite and can then work with you for the cheapest costs to repair. By not telling us and hoping we wont find the damage really is not nice for anybody.

PARKING FINES & OTHER FINES

All parking fines, speeding fines and any other penalty fines and associated administration costs will be liable by yourselves. If these come in after you have returned the van and received your Security/Damage deposit back your details will be provided as hirer of the vehicle and you will be liable to pay any amounts owed.
